Unity for the Community gave me an opportunity to come together with others for a shared purpose, serving and supporting our community. As a student volunteer, I participated in the event and helped contribute to an environment centered on connection, involvement, and giving back.
Earned over 56 hours between 2025 & 2026
This experience reminded me that leadership does not always mean being the person in charge. Sometimes leadership means showing up, being willing to help, working alongside others, and doing your part to make something successful.
Being part of Unity for the Community allowed me to connect with people outside of my everyday school activities and continue building my understanding of service. It showed me that even small contributions can become meaningful when people come together for the good of their community.
