As Communications Director for my class at River Ridge High School, I help keep students informed, connected, and engaged with what is happening in our school community. I support Student Government by communicating important announcements, promoting events and activities, and helping make sure students know about opportunities to participate.
This role has taught me that communication is an important part of leadership. It is not just about sharing information—it is about understanding your audience, representing your peers, working with a team, and helping create a stronger sense of school community.
Serving in SGA has allowed me to combine two things I enjoy: leadership and communication, while using my voice to serve my classmates.
