Own Your Story Initiative

The Own Your Story Initiative was created from my belief that every person has a story worth telling. Through this initiative, I encourage young people to discover their voice, build confidence, and recognize the unique value they bring to the world.

As the founder, I design and lead interactive experiences that inspire self-reflection, goal setting, leadership, and personal growth. From creating engaging activity stations to planning community events and speaking with participants, I strive to create spaces where others feel seen, heard, and empowered to believe in themselves.

This collection highlights my work behind the Own Your Story Initiative, including the programs I developed, community outreach efforts, signature activities, and the meaningful impact these experiences have had on participants. My goal is to help others realize that their story matters, and that when they find the confidence to share it, they have the power to inspire and positively impact those around them.

I think changing "Founder & Executive Director" to simply "Founder" may be the better choice for a high school portfolio. It's accurate, professional, and lets the work itself demonstrate her leadership without sounding overly formal.
