My journey in broadcasting started much earlier than I realized it would. At Little River Elementary School, I had the opportunity to participate in our school news program and experience what it felt like to communicate with an audience for the first time.
Being part of the morning news helped me become more comfortable speaking in front of others, preparing what I wanted to say, and sharing information with my school community. At the time, I simply thought it was something fun that I enjoyed doing. I had no idea that those early experiences in front of a camera would eventually grow into something I would continue through middle school and high school.
Looking back, Little River is where I first began discovering my voice. What started with elementary school announcements became the beginning of a much bigger interest in broadcasting, communication, storytelling, and connecting with others.
