At 16, I became a published author with the release of Through the Cheer Bows and Camera Lens, a book inspired by my experiences navigating leadership, confidence, communication, and finding my own voice.

But becoming an author taught me that creating something is only the beginning. I experienced the process of transforming an idea into a finished product, developing a personal brand, building an online presence, promoting my work, planning an author event, connecting with readers, and learning how storytelling can become both a platform and a vehicle for impact.

Through this journey, I began thinking like both an author and an entrepreneur, learning to take ownership of an idea, communicate its value, reach an audience, and build something meaningful around it.

Most importantly, my book became a starting point rather than a finish line. The lessons I learned about confidence and using my voice helped inspire my broader work encouraging young people to recognize the value of their own stories.
