Leadership has become an important part of my high school experience, but I have learned that being a leader is about much more than having a title. Through student leadership, mentoring, coaching, communication, service, and community involvement, I have had opportunities to take responsibility, support others, and use my voice in meaningful ways. Each experience has taught me something different about listening, working with others, stepping up when I am needed, and helping people feel encouraged and included. As I have grown, I have become more confident not only in leading, but also in understanding the responsibility that comes with it.
